Hunza Tea Ingredients

Here is the list of ingredients of Hunza tea required for two servings- 

  • 2 and 1/2 cups of fresh water
  • 6 Mint leaves (Pudina leaves)
  • 4 Basil leaves (Tulsi leaves)
  • 2 green cardamom pods, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 10 grams of fresh ginger or 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 10 grams jaggery or 2 teaspoons jaggery powder
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  1. Pour 2 and 1/2 cups of fresh water into a teapot.
  2. Bring water to a boil.
  3. Add all of the ingredients except lemon juice. 
  4. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Strain out the tea in 2 cups, 
  6. Add lemon juice and stir it.
